The Collect for Christmas Day

The Collect for the Nativity of our Lord (December 25*)
Book of Common Prayer

Almighty God, you have given us your only Son to take our nature upon him and as at this time to be born of a pure virgin: grant that we, being born again and made your children by adoption and grace, may daily be renewed by your Holy Spirit; through our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

*Said continually until New-year’s Eve.
